We launched our first issue at AWP in 2022.
Our second issue dropped in fall of 2023, and we are currently reading for our third issue. We mostly rely on word of mouth, so please send us your poemz and tell others to send us their poemz.
Lost Pilots was founded by three friends who did their MFA together and wanted to make an awesome print poetry mag. We publish once per calendar year.
Contrary to popular belief, there are too many great poems out there and not enough lit mags. We’re excited to provide a platform and are committed to its quality, longevity, variety, and inclusiveness.
We have free subs! We’re pretty quick! The vast majority of our acceptances come from unsolicited submissions on Submittable! Each issue comes with a dust jacket that reverses into a broadside!
